3-0 at the Break, and No Let-Up
Johan Manzambi opened the scoring in the 12th minute, on his 21st birthday, before Nicolas Jackson struck twice (31', 39') to make it 3-0 at half-time. Ross Barkley added a second-half brace (68', 72'), and Tammy Abraham completed the rout in the 90th minute.
A Historic Margin
It's Villa's biggest-ever margin of victory in any European competition, and their first home win of the season — a statement result that puts them in a position of strength early in the league phase, with two wins from two.
