LASK 3-6 Liverpool: Barcola Scores His First Champions League Hat-Trick

Bradley Barcola scored his first Champions League hat-trick as Liverpool won a nine-goal thriller 6-3 away to LASK Linz at the Raiffeisen Arena on Wednesday, October 14.
Barcola's Breakthrough Night
Ronald Araújo headed Liverpool in front in the 22nd minute from a Kostas Tsimikas corner, and Barcola doubled the lead just 96 seconds later — the first of three goals on the night for the French forward (24', 37', 66'). Jeremie Frimpong, teed up by Tsimikas, headed in a fourth on 51 minutes, and Lewis Koumas added a sixth late on.
LASK pulled three goals back through Robert Ljubicic and a Florian Flecker brace, but the damage from Liverpool's dominant spell either side of half-time was already done.
A Statement for Barcola
It's the clearest sign yet that Barcola is settling into life at Anfield after his move from PSG — a first career Champions League hat-trick, in a result that keeps Arne Slot's side firmly on course in the league phase.
